This weekend looks like the official start to winter road races! Quite a few members (Ben Bowie, Leanne LaFave, Ty Rabon, David Lower) are racing in the Run for Food Half Marathon at Ocean Isle! There is also a Resolution Run 5K at Wrightsville Beach on Saturday. Road races are perfect tune-ups for the upcoming triathlon season. You won't want to miss the Cardinal Strut 5K and 10K on March 3 - which coordinated and hosted by our very own Renee Griffin and Leanne LaFave.  CLICK HERE for an upcoming race calendar.

OR.....CLICK HERE to sign up for Wilmington's first tri of the season. There are only 253 spots available for this triathlon on March 10. It's right in our back yard (on and around the UNCW campus) and a great start to the year. Our swims, bikes and runs will have you prepared for an amazing race to kick off 2012.

SWIM BARK RUN

Your weekly motivation is this video of free-running sled dogs. Heini (yes, really) Winter trains his dogs in the summer to mush in the winter. He takes his 16 dogs out to swim, bike and run every day.
