News for January 13, 2013

WORKOUT NEWS ---------------

January is in full swing and so are our regular workouts. You won't want to miss this week's cycle session [tomorrow morning at 5:45 at the YWCA main building]. We're riding through the HOLLYWOOD HILLS in honor of the Golden Globes. Plus, next week we'll do a "feels like" preview of the Azalea sprint course.

If you want a swim workout, remember we have FOUR available: Monday at 5:30p, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30a and Fridays at 7am. Plus, don't miss your track workout on Wednesday at 5:45a or the run on Friday at 5:45a. Each Friday at 5:45a Leanne prepares two workouts. You can choose from an interval workout or a mid-distance social run.

If you need your yoga fix - Holly Konrady is offering two opportunities each week. Join her on Tuesdays from 6:00p -7:00p at Cape Fear Sports Medicine and Thursdays at Open Studio 5:30p-6:30p. BOTH are donation-based classes. PLUS, mark your calendar for JANUARY 28. Bring your yoga mat instead of your bike as she closes out January with a Monday morning practice.
