WEEKEND WORKOUTS

BIKE on SATURDAY at Fitness for Life or SPIN-CITY. These indoor rides are perfect opportunities to improve your bike fitness. The computrainer rides at Fitness for Life use state-of-the-art computers to simulate actual courses. View your course on a 12-foot projection screen with ride (your own bike) on simulated incline and declines. There are three classes on Saturday to choose from including a two-hour ride at 10am. Join Beth Andrew for an indoor cycle class at SPIN-CITY at 9:30am on Saturday. The studio features twenty high-end cycles and a state-of-the-art sound system so you can practice you cadence and climbing skills set to music.

RUN ON SUNDAY starts at 7:30a from the Port City Java on Front Street near Market. Customize your mileage and "hill-age" for a pleasant weekend run - without rain!?

RACE RESULTS

Congrats to all the participants of the William H. Craig Race for Life event last Saturday! There were victories all around in the 15K and 5K races.

Billy Block placed third in his age group with a time of 1:04:32
Brian Campbell placed first in his age group with 1:05:47
Sami Winter (first in age-group) with 1:06:05
Jennifer Mannochio (third in age-group) with 1:12:12
Erica Christensen finished in 1:13:59
Tina Williamson (third in age-group) with 1:16:43
Bill Boyer finished in 1:20:06
Beth Sheppard and Leanne LaFave finished in 1:23:36

PLUS! Charlie George competed in the 5K and finished in 29:59!

Special congrats to friends of the club: David Lower (0:58:09) and Bruce Brawley (1:03:53) and Ted Bucierka (1:17:54) who competed in the 15K. Ren Williamson finished the 5K in 27:52 (second in age-group)!
